Fay Lomas is a director working in theatre, audio and film. She has a particular interest in new writing, reimagined classics, and international work.

​

She was a JMK Directing Award Finalist 2023. Since 2021, her audio work has won an OnComm Award, her theatre work has been nominated for three Off WestEnd Awards including Best Director, and her short film, Some Kind of Festival, was accepted into 4 festivals, including BAFTA-qualifying Underwire. In 2019, she won the inaugural Peter Hall Emerging Artist Fellowship at the Rose Theatre, Kingston.

She has directed for Rose Theatre Kingston, Arcola Theatre, Theatre by the Lake, Theatre 503, Royal and Derngate,  and worked as an assistant director for the National Theatre and in the West End, and as an associate/ assistant on major UK tours.

 

She has just directed 3 afternoon dramas for BBC Radio 4.

​

She trained on the directing course at Birkbeck (Distinction).
